8 potential jobs out of nearly 1000. Clearly what I’m doing isn’t working. I think the problem is I changed my focus. After spending 23 years at ad agencies I was trying to switch back to my original passion, what got me into design in the first place: #UserInterfaceDesign and #DesignSystems. Sadly it seems most companies no longer see any delineation between #UI and #UX. It’s all one job to them: #ProductDesigner. some job listings that expected the role to write production-ready HTML/CSS.

In the last 8 weeks I have applied for 644 jobs, recieved 231 rejections (most without ever actually speaking to a person), got 10 screens and 7 interviews. The rest of the applications have not replied at all. It's incredibly discouraging.

I wonder how much I need to teach about #informationprivacy basics and #gdpr in general. I would like to keep that part as short as possible. Audience to be attracted: #UIdesigner, #UXdesigner, #productdesigner and similar. Would you be interested, about such basics? -
