It is now natively bilingual english/spanish … everything except the newsletter itself (working on that) … thanks to way #ProcessWire handles multilingual fields.

also separating concerns and setting myself up for more granular rss feeds, so now instead of site-wide, the rss feed is dedicated to the newsletter and only appears on the /newsletter page.

I'm contemplating a weekly notes section with it's own rss feed

building my newsletter in #ProcessWire with the #ProMailer module has been great. Here is the custom interface I built for drafting dispatches. Notice there is also a #TiddlyWiki Import tab at the top, which accepts individual tiddler urls and will pull in the images and text from my wiki to help me get started with the draft.

The layout is also custom, down to the height of the body field and the placement of the columns and image fields.

I made my first component using AJAX in #ProcessWire … a search-engine that feeds results dynamically into the markup. Don’t ask me how I made it this long as a developer not having touched any of that sort of functionality. I guess you could say I tend to lead a life of simplicity.

This module makes it super simple to include content (e.g. scripts, iframes) in your HTML that must *only* function *after* suitable consent has been obtained.

This is great for #privacy and basic human respect and #GDPR compliance in UK/EU.

This took me a while, but I solved an interesting problem in a #ProcessWire page I am updating.

I wanted to display all artist names (the children of a page "Artists") as ordered in the Admin backend, but instead of linking to those actual children pages (which serve as an index page for the artist), link to a relevant project of theirs … EXCEPT if it's a "news-item" page … don't show those.

references() method traverses and filters exactly as I had hoped!

@cmccullough @joomla @drupal Weirdly I transitioned out of WordPress to Nuxt coincidently. I am enjoying making a different sort of website.

Having said that #processwire is worth a look or #Laravel with #twill if you fancy learning that ecosystem

currently having trouble setting up #ProcessWire, using #Windows 11, #VsCodium and #Xampp
The compatibility check tells me that i need GD 2.0, so i tried to install it. For that I need to use a nmake command, which always comes back with an error : nmake is not recognised as an internal or external command
I looked it up everywhere, people say it needs a vscode package or so, but nothing i've tried worked.
If someone has encountered the same problem i'll be glad to hear how you fixed it 😅

excited to be launching a site-wide redesign for the teaching machine, an art collective that Strangeloop, myself, and several others founded in 2011.

This time built from the ground up with ProcessWire CMF, mostly with php/Latte framework. Some link elements are placeholders for things to come, and there still might be some rough spots, but overall it's a welcome change from our old cargo site

В данном случае - страница настранивается с бэк-енд админки (Processwire CMS) и потенциально может иметь боковую панель ( произвольной ширины ), может и не иметь. А возможно в дальнейшем и вторую панель кому захочется прикрутить (old school) на широких экранах. Главная секция (main content) состоит из наших конструкторских чудо-карточек, о ней то речь и пойдёт

i managed to figure out how to create a #ProcessWire site-profile for very conveniently being able to spin-up a new site installation and have all of my preferred modules and scripts/markup pre-installed out the gate.
