Time for an #introduction. I'm a historian (#histodons) working on the history of #tea, #coffee and other #intoxicants in #17thcentury and #18thcentury Hamburg/Germany. I'm interested in #earlymodern #bodies, #medicine, #materialculture and #consumption, and #practices of #sendingstuff.
Previously on the #IntoxicatingSpaces team (www.intoxicatingspaces.org), I now work on the #PrizePapers Project (www.prizepapers.de) at Oldenburg University.

#introduction Hello. My name is Lucas Haasis. I am a postdoc & the research coordinator of the UK-German #PrizePapers Project (www.prizepapers.de). I am also a lecturer of #EarlyModern History at Oldenburg University. My research focusses on #18thcentury #letterwriting, mercantile culture of the 18th century, #praxeological approaches, global #microhistory.
