The rain was falling steadily as I photographed this sign on the Sheep’s Head peninsula.

Curious about the sign, I looked up The Anchorage and found this for sale page saying it was recently sold, but an archive.org copy from 2019 shows the seller was looking for €695,000 back then.

The #NatureConservancyOfCanada (NCC) on Friday #announced the complete #protection of #ecologically #sensitive lands surrounding #LoonLake - located north of #Kingston #Ontario .

#NCC & #nature #champion #MonteHummel have reached an #agreement to #protect the final piece of #PrivateLand in a #conservation network that spans over 2,000 hectares.
