Many #Hospitals have these high cost, very profitable off-site ’Urgi-Care #Emergency rooms' which are really fancy first aid stations.
Ridiculous that Mr Zhang managed to get two $6,000+ bills for visits to one of these facilities at #Parkland in #Texas.
Why doesn't our #Government and #PrivateInsurers incentivize lower cost services? They have decimated the #PrimaryCare system leaving patients with no where else to go.
Just another example of putting profits over care in our unfettered #Capitalist #HealthCare system.
