In an earlier post, I mentioned this circle of #emotions. Now I see that #disappointment is seen, in the circle, as #disgust. I don’t agree with that. Disappointment is seen as #sadness, in my eyes. Sadness because your hope about something or someone didn’t come true. This means the #loss of your wish/ hope. And overcoming loss means sadness. So sadness is the primarily adaptive emotion of disappointment (eventually with some anger).
