    🚨MOBILISATION FOR PRIDE PROTEST 🚨

    Just like previous years, companies like Unilever who are complicit in genocide get to pinkwash Rotterdam Pride.

    In a recent article about the recent attack in Berlin and the upcoming march, one of the organisers (of Rotterdam Pride) stated that the police is there to protect us. The police has historically NEVER protected queers and NEVER will. We protect ourselves. Let’s show up and put the protest back in pride!

    We say,
    No pride in genocide
    No cops at pride
    Pride is a protest

    No Pride in Genocide

    Dam (across from Madame Tussauds), Amsterdam, zaterdag 25 juli om 11:00 CEST

    ‼️CALL TO ACTION‼️

    Amsterdam Pride is being sponsored by big corporations. Corporations like booking who are complicit in the occupation of the West Bank.

    When: Saturday July 25th
    Where: Dam square (across from Madame Tussauds)
    Time: 11:00

    KPN who also sponsors the arms fair.
    ING who is complicit in the genocide in Palestine and climate change.
    And many more horrible companies.

    While people are “celebrating” pride, they forget our history and what pride is really about. The first Pride was a riot where they fought for human rights.
    How can we have corporations at a human rights protest who are actively committing human right violations?

    No one is free, until all of us are free.
    This is why we need our voice to be heard.
    Heard by the people attending pride and the organization.
    Bring your friends, and be loud!

    CW: Der CSD am 04. Juli in Schwerin war eine reine Werbeveranstaltung für die Regierung, Parteien und Polizei.

    Kurz vor dem Aufzug wurde die Versammlung eröffnet und es fanden nur drei Redebeiträge statt. Einmal von dem Veranstalter selbst, der Ministerpräsidentin Manuela Schwesig und von der Queerbeauftragten der Bundesregierung Sophie Koch.

    Zusätzlich haben fast alle Parteien, einschl. Queerfeindliche Parteien, einen Stand bekommen. Dabei waren FDP, SPD, Die Linke, Grüne und Volt.

    Und um das noch abzurunden, war die Bundespolizei sowie die Polizeidirektion Rostock mit einem Stand vertreten.

    Queere Stimmen aus der lokalen Community gab es keine. Ich weiß nicht was die Gründe dafür sind. Nur hat das bisher jeder CSD, den ich besucht habe, hinbekommen auch Stimmen und Redebeiträge aus der Community einen Raum zu geben und nicht nur Regierungsvertreter*innen. Für die Größe des CSD und des nicht Vorhandensein queerer Stimmen auf 'nem fucking CSD, war dieser CSD bisher mit Abstand die größte Enttäuschung für mich. Ich würde so weit gehen und sagen, dass es eine reine Werbeveranstaltung war und es nicht das Ziel hatte (politische) Forderungen, Lebensweisen und Erfahrungen von queeren Menschen sichtbar zu machen.
