After the success of "Predator" prequel "Prey" on Hulu, 20th Century Studios is looking to expand the franchise with a new stand-alone film, "Badlands", to be directed by Dan Trachtenberg. The studio is also in early development on a sequel to "Prey" with a potential return of star Amber Midthunder.

Since I just watched the video essay by Mikey Neumann (#FilmJoy) about the 2022 Predator film *Prey*, I just want to say that it's a fantastic film, that Amber Midthunder deserved all the praise she got for her role, and I'm glad we're going to see more of her soon.
But I don't think we talk enough about Dakota Beavers, who delivered a warm and compelling performance as Taabe, and who I would like to see in more roles.

Habe in den #filmpodcast von @schoenerdenken reingehört. Ungewohnt weil kürzer als die andere Podcasts, die ich sonst höre. Andererseits reichen bei einem Film wie Prey 9 Minuten eigentlich völlig aus.
Jedenfalls ein dickes Thumbs Up von mir.

Not that it needs another voice saying the same thing, but I must say;
#PreyMovie is a damn good. You should watch it. People complaining about some of the mediocre CG should shut up, it's very good.
