Posting this here to boost from my other accounts, but Miiverse DMs on @[email protected]'s Juxtaposition service will turn read-only from the 5th of April (roughly around midday BST). :boost_ok: Help with considerations on MoCA vs Powerline Ethernet
I'd like to get my Wii and Wii U working with the internet but it appears that my WiFi signal to my basement is just bad enough that, while the network is detected, it typically doesn't connect.
I have a free Coax cable right behind the TV I use for the Wii/Wii U.
Should I use MoCA or Powerline Ethernet, or another solution entirely? What would I need to get? Can I use one of these solutions to also strengthen the Wireless connection in this basement?
I also need to have some way to either use WEP security or bypass it using Ethernet in order for classic Wii functionality to work. If I do Ethernet, I know there's a product that will allow me to hook that into the console and it'll work.
My ISP is Xfinity and I have one of their modern XFi modems (and no other relevant routers)
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Feel free to ask additional questions for more details if needed.

Luna now has the Dream Suite on it! I cannot wait for the day to come when Pretendo makes this feature work again. It was always one of my favourite features in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Before I get around to being destroyed by players with a decade more experience than me, I thought I'd see what the Miiverse was all about.
It is a *lot* busier than I had anticipated.

I've gotten like 5 of these emails in the past few days from #Nintendo. Apparently it includes updates that remove your right to enter into class action lawsuits against Nintendo, and gives them the right to brick your console if they accuse you of "unauthorized use".
They also seem to be explicitly going after services like #Pretendo that seek to reverse engineer Nintendo online services.

I setup pretendo on my #3ds to play mh4u with my brother and I learned they have a service for online streetpass!!!
I really loved streetpass when I was younger so this makes me really excited!
This only works for mutual friends, so if you happen to have a modded 3ds with the pretendo services let's be friends!

My main concern is that I have a ton of eShop purchases stored on my SD card and ideally those purchases would remain valid and playable!
