Is there anything like #Pretendo for the #PlayStation #PSVita? Last I checked (2 yrs ago) it was down, and now, its down again/still down. Does anybody know how to get #PlayStationStore stuff without signing up (because I cant) or of an alternative store (yes i know about VitaDB and stuff, i mean something that REPLACES psn, like pretendo)?

Posting this here to boost from my other accounts, but Miiverse DMs on @[email protected]'s Juxtaposition service will turn read-only from the 5th of April (roughly around midday BST). Users will have roughly two weeks to export their DMs once they turn read-only. I'd like to get my Wii and Wii U working with the internet but it appears that my WiFi signal to my basement is just bad enough that, while the network is detected, it typically doesn't connect.
I have a free Coax cable right behind the TV I use for the Wii/Wii U.
Should I use MoCA or Powerline Ethernet, or another solution entirely? What would I need to get? Can I use one of these solutions to also strengthen the Wireless connection in this basement?
I also need to have some way to either use WEP security or bypass it using Ethernet in order for classic Wii functionality to work. If I do Ethernet, I know there's a product that will allow me to hook that into the console and it'll work.
My ISP is Xfinity and I have one of their modern XFi modems (and no other relevant routers)
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Feel free to ask additional questions for more details if needed.

I picked up Splatoon on disc, and the official servers are long shut down, so it was time to try out #Pretendo (on the Wii U; I've used it on my 3DS since last year). Before I get around to being destroyed by players with a decade more experience than me, I thought I'd see what the Miiverse was all about.
It is a *lot* busier than I had anticipated.

I've gotten like 5 of these emails in the past few days from #Nintendo. Apparently it includes updates that remove your right to enter into class action lawsuits against Nintendo, and gives them the right to brick your console if they accuse you of "unauthorized use".
They also seem to be explicitly going after services like #Pretendo that seek to reverse engineer Nintendo online services.

Just learned about pretendo today.
Pretendo is a free and open source replacement for Nintendo's servers for both the 3DS and Wii U, allowing online connectivity for all, even after the original servers are discontinued
