@RasherMurphy yes likewise, when The Ditch did their announcement this morning, I wondered if Gript had already done so for access and legitimacy, but would seem not many aware of it, given the quality of fact versus opinion reporting #PressCouncil #Ireland and few using complaints process. Press Council is self-regulating but one more positive means of complaining that I guess social media which drives clickbait to outlets. #media #digital #accountability

The Ditch, Ireland's online investigating outlet ( target is usually finding and exposing dirt on Government, and its politicians) has become member of Press Council to gain access to reporting from Leinster House it says; but it will also now come under Council's code of practice and open to public complaints; With rights come responsibility. #TheDitch #PressCouncil #Ireland
