Samples, Presets, MIDI-Grooves – Illements ist eine Sample-Plattform mit Schwerpunkt auf elektronische Musikgenres, kuratiert von bekannten Producern. Ob sich der Dienst gegen Splice, Mugent und Co. behaupten kann, habe ich im Langzeit-Test herausgefunden.

Für die Nutzenden stellt sich selbstverständlich immer die Frage, wie regelmäßig neue Inhalte erscheinen. Und natürlich, ob es Vorteile gegenüber dem Platzhirsch in diesem Bereich, Splice, gibt. @x42 @ercanbrack 3/5 Plugin #maintenance today (on any OS) can be messy. Some come with #installers, some don't, some tell you what to put where (manually). Many put files or folders all over the place or ask you to put stuff in directories as root etc. There's no automatic #updating too. There's problems like libcurl version conflicts (can be fixed with patchelf) or plugins can't access their #presets and so on.
