Wie versprochen habe ich mich mit dem OTTO Comp von Audio Damage beschäftigt.
Habe das Plugin mit Cakewalk Sonar gecheckt.
OTTO muss als Send eingebunden werden. Die verschiedenen Presets klingen vom Start weg schon recht amtlich & kann manuell angepasst werden.
Für ein kostenloses Plugin sind die Features sowie Einstellmöglichkeiten echt erstaunlich.
Testet es unbedingt mal an.

Под это уже давно есть отличный, проверенный Workbox, и я сам с ним работал. Но по мере того, как я таскал SW из проекта в проект, у меня всё чаще возникало ощущение, что мне нужен инструмент с другим профилем : поменьше магии и слоёв абстракции; попроще вход в код и в «как тут всё устроено»; конструктор из маленьких плагинов, которые легко прочитать глазами и отладить. Поэтому я написал @budarin/pluggable-serviceworker — не вместо Workbox , а как более лёгкий, типизированный и прозрачный рантайм для тех случаев, когда хочется полной управляемости и минимально возможной когнитивной нагрузки.

Just seen a very well known landscape photographer selling Lightroom presets for £30 (20). Normal price £50! Fair play to them. I’m sure they will sell… because people will think there work will look like theirs with the click of a button. But here is the catch… you’ve got to have a good image to start with!

A question for any #digital #video experts out there... I'm confused as heck about the results from #libx265 (used via #ffmpeg, not the #x265 tool) regarding quality vs. preset and ratefactor.
I'm far from the first person to be confused by this, but I haven't found any real answers.
First I'll just show some analysis from some test encodes of a file; ssim and ratefactor numbers are coming from the CSV stats output of libx265.
