This week in #PREreview_product. We have successfully deployed a new search feature to our Reviews page 🙌
You can now search published PREreviews by title and author, in addition to filtering those reviews by language or OpenAlex field, give it a try: https://prereview.org/reviewsNext, we're working on new data dashboards to provide anonymized, aggregated information about activity on the PREreview site (like the number of requests made last month).

This week we’ve added OpenAlex fields and subfields to tag and find PREreviews that are relevant to you. We’ve also added a language filter, where you can find PREreviews written in English, Portuguese, & Spanish. -

This week we’ve added @OpenAlex subfields to tag review requests on PREreview.org and implemented a language filter 🙌
This first iteration allows you to sort requests of preprints written in English, Portuguese, & Spanish.After enabling filtering for requests, we’ll do the same with published PREreviews, allowing you to sort them by OpenAlex subfield and language on PREreview.org, combined with a search field for things like author and title.

What's new in #PREreview_product this week?
We’re working on ways to use
@OpenAlex to tag review requests on PREreview.org so that our reviewers can tell at-a-glance if a preprint is relevant to their research interests or not.After early experiments using
@OpenAlex 's “Fields” as labels, we’ve dialed down to “Subfields” in hopes that this is the right level of detail for community members scanning requests. Let us know what you think! -
This week in #PREreview_product we launched our request-a-review feature on http://PREreview.org! We also added a section to the home page to display your most recent requests, and a “Recent review requests” page to gather your requests in one place 🎉

What's new in #prereview_product:
We made a lot of progress on the new request-a-review feature for PREreview.org. We plan to launch the feature next Tuesday along with a blog post so keep an eye out for that!
We are also doing lots of testing inc:
- Letting users choose between their public or pseudonymous profiles when making a request.
- Connecting requests between PREreview.org and our community Slack.

Rapid PREreviews also help people understand at-a-glance which areas of a preprint need the most help and which work best, while including perspectives from diverse reviewers. We paused this feature for now and are excited to bring back a new and improved version later in 2023.
