@QuentinJuhel You’re right. Something clearly changed back then, and before. It may have clearly become obvious for us in LibreGraphicsMeeting in Rennes but was under the hoods for a long time. I remember having written this (https://accentgrave.net/log/2024-02-03--pppolitical/ *) at this moment, in an attempt to define #PrePostPrint –which was, I guess, too personal. But Flossflop (https://accentgrave.net/log/2023-04-15--flossflop/ *) was a year before and references some sources that were already way older. CC4r is 2019. We need to continuously refine our relationship with F/LOSS, in the hope of maintaining our balance on the fine line between radicalism and openness.

@yann_t I’ll feed the (gentle) troll! Like @QuentinJuhel said below, sharing is a valuable pratice, whatever is shared. When *sharing*, different involvements into *caring* are possible. I personally like to document a lot, allowing newcomers not to be lost when facing a new tool, code, approach… but I know it’s not always possible (always possible but time consuming) even always welcome. Highlighting is another thing. I don’t think PPP will ever *highlight* any InDesign scripts –apart if some could definitely crash the app, maybe ;°)

@dobody @euji @yann_t @queenparamount @clara__bgn @timotheegoguely @antoinentl Do you think Kevin was shy to share with us these tool considering our vision. I think about it in the train going back to my home. If you see this Kevin, I was little bit sceptical about the position of not sharing you’re fabulous script (sorry for that). I was and I am always convinced about the sharing pratice and that what I think what is #Prepostprint about.

Well, personally, I feel that my political ambition is clear--though I am not convinced that the outcomes of developing such ambiguous tools are aligned with my ambitions. What do the #PrePostPrint people think of that?

@dobody C’est ce que disait @julienbidoret, aujourd’hui y a que @raphael qui a fait des issues avec des concept sur le git de @prepostprint. Ton idée suggère que l’on pourrait reprendre cette méthode pour travailler ensemble. Mais je pense que ça ne suffit pas, il faut construire des groupes, se donner des objectifs. (merci notre habitus productiviste)
