This is excellent news, although it is a complete scandal that households with prepayment meters - who are almost always poor households and face the lights literally going out the moment each prepaid card is spent - have had to pay more than the rest of us per unit for electricity.

Sorry, British Gas, it's not remotely plausible that you didn't know this was going on.
You're suspending forced prepayment meter installations (note: suspending, not stopping) because you got caught, not because you're "horrified".
