These results (higher #precocity in higher #fire activity areas; https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/oik.09373) have a direct application in #restoration: selecting #seeds from populations with high fire activity would increase the #resilience capacity of the restored woodland to face the increasing fire frequency. This may be more relevant than collecting seeds in typical high quality seed sites
