Yesterday’s Kentucky heat had Berry and me out on the deck, and one comment from Peggy brought my mother’s voice right back. I’ve been missing the people who used to check in on us. 🙏 My 6th grade kiddo's science teacher lost her 21-year old daughter from an aneurysm while she was at college.

They're saying power may be out for days, even weeks. I hope they somehow fix it quickly. The hotel doesn't have emergency lighting, so they're sitting in the dark. Phone battery will only last so long. Without power, the room will soon be a hot box. And gusts are still as high as 100mph.

Perhaps a foolish idea but it won't leave my head:
Someone should make, like, a #PrayerRequest app/site, but instead of just Christianity focused, users would be prompted to specify whatever traditions(s)/deity(ies)/spirit(s)/divine force(s) that they follow, and other users can filter the prayer requests by their own spirituality
e.g. if a user is Jewish and wants to fulfill prayer requests from other Jewish folks
or if a user is omnist and is cool with addressing a prayer to any divine entity
