‘After Muslims, It’s The Turn Of Christians:’ With Little Evidence, UP Govt Prosecutes 4 Christian Institutions, Arrests Employees

Four Christian-run institutions in the Uttar Pradesh town of Fatehpur face criminal cases for alleged forcible conversion of Hindus, with over 200 accused, many arrested and imprisoned, under UP’s three-year-old anti-conversion law. Article 14 investigation reveals similar statements in four FIRs over nine months, police cases or raids on Christian institutions, based on illegal third-party or anonymous complaints. Simultaneously, the union government acted against the finances of one of these four institutions.

I hold a Master's degree in Cognitive Science from the Centre of #Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences #CBCS, University of #Allahabad, #Prayagraj and a Bachelor's degree in #Electronics and #Communication #Engineering from Anna #University, Chennai, India.

Before receiving my master's degree, I was in the third cohort of International #Fellowship in #Health #Technology #Assessment #HTA at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, #IITMadras #IITM #Chennai.

I love #data, #theory, and bringing both together. I am interested in raising awareness of dementia. I also like to engage in #SystemsThinking and #DesignThinking to better understand #WickedProblems.

16th century mosque bulldozed in UP to widen road

Shahi Masjid, a 16th century mosuqe situated at GT Road in Uttar Pradesh‘s Saidabad, Prayagraj was demolished by the authorities for widening of highway.

The historic mosque was demolished two days before the lower court was set to hear the matter, mosque imam said.
