#Declarative #manifests are great. But when #people start #practicing the declarative #idea they'll #love it. Coz almost all #programs from #shells, #terminals, #programs have #configuration #files, whose #workflow is kind of, do changes and apply and repeat, that's all. That'll be a good #future #practice too.
#Imperative workflows are currently okayish for #GUI #applications, eg: changing a #setting in GUI and it'll store in declarative #manifest. That'll #help us all move forward.

So, I've been trying to force myself to draw more; the "game" I play is "do a Google image search and sketch a bunch of examples". I had been doing it in an actual sketch book, but I'm sitting in a car on my way to Wisconsin and my new phone has a stylus, so I realized can do it anywhere! Drawing while driving makes everything look like Egon Schiele but I'd be lying if I said that looked different than my stationary sketches. #drawing #practicing

A lot of #languaglearning research actually points to you #learning your new #language at an optimum level when you're trying to follow stuff that's a good few notches above what you feel comfortable with.
"Not quite getting it but feeling you nearly can " is the best way to be when #practicing.
