I dislike how most FOSS apps still write their documents like marketing pricks.
I read about what the culprits are before the functions,
- If your music player doesn't have folder access I don't need to know the rest
- if your app requires three or more taps to register a daily function and can't setup shortcuts, I don't need to know the rest
- if your update changes any user setting, I need to know upfront
And if any of the functions requires multiple CMD windows flashing on a frequent basis - you better put it as a warning.
Fucking windows power toys.

Lilbits: Half Life on ReactOS, a mouse with a horizontal scroll wheel, and MS PowerToys 0.100
These days you can play plenty of Windows games on Linux PCs thanks to Valve’s proton software. And a growing number of games that were originally made for Windows have also been ported to run natively on Linux.
All of which is to say that if you really want to run an older PC game like Half Life on an open source operating system, you have plenty of options for doing that. But it’s still […]

Lilbits: Pebble Time 2 smartwatch adds touchscreen app support, entry-level Pixel 11 could have less RAM than Pixel 10
Before the Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch, there was Pebble. The pioneering smartwatch brand disappeared for a while after it was acquired by Fitbit… which was later acquired by Google. But last year Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky launched a new company called Core Devices and revived the brand.
For the most part, new Pebble-branded watches are a lot like the ones that shipped a decade […]
