  1. @vampiress There's Pirates of the Burning sea, (#potbs) which is very close and was kept alive by the small but seaworthy community for a long time. I'm not 100% sure about its current state, but it should be a halfway decent single player experience even if the servers are not "bristling with activity".

    There's also #NavalAction, which focuses on the ships alone, but is still in active development.

    #Pirate games are very niche, sadly.
