    Apparently it's Nick Lowe's birthday today.

    I think this is the first song of his that I knew was his. He had me with the rhyme "she was the winner who became the doggy's dinner".

    I ended up playing This Year's Model for the first time in - well, decades, probably. What a brilliant album!

    Anyhow, given the state of the world, this seems appropriate.
