In the 1990s Frederic Jameson referred to postmodernism as the "cultural logic of late capitalism".
Now I think it may be more than a cultural phenomenon and the "logic" we are experiencing is "reductio ad absurdum capitalism"

I think we are now so thoroughly post-modern that we don't even recognise it as being post-modern.
