Devs, if you're building a web app and want to send out transactions as well as a fortnightly (templated) 'recent updates' newsletter... which email sending service would you recommend?
Back in the day I would have looked at sendgrid (now very bloated) or mailchimp (not so dev friendly) and more recently have used postmark.
Wondering if there's something else out there the cool kids are using these days?

What a surprise. The #USPS has changed the rules for the #postmark date of mail. As of last Wednesday, December 24, the postmark date is the day they #process the mail piece, NOT the day you drop it off. If you do #VBM, try to find a secure #dropbox. If you can’t, put your #ballot in the mail far ahead of time or, if you can, take it to the #postoffice and have the agent there #postmark it in front of you. #votersuppression

Postmark changes at the Post Office and late mail
Changes in #postmark practices at the #PostOffice mean that the postmark will no longer represent when a letter was mailed. But, numerous laws presume the postmark is the same as the mailing date. So, many legal cases will soon be "late."

With my new laminator I've made a dry-erase gamesheet for VOYAGES by Postmark Games. Not only that, but it's double sided so it has both the first two maps for the game.
There's less glare off the plastic in real life than in these photos; they're very usable.

I am migrating my site to @ghost.org and found a problem when it asked me to configure a Mailgun account to send newsletters.
