    (Written 1966 as a prequel to #JaneAyre - the back story of the mad woman in the attic. Small liberties taken with actual historical chronology.)

    And I see just about every human on the planet is living a post-colonial life.

    Yet the Xia dynasty, the Greeks, Romans, etc have had postcolonialism around for millenia.
