@aspensmonster @gdinwiddie I do wonder to what extent they can be a force for good. I want to still believe technology can be that.

However, if I let go of my once-youthful idealism, the reality is nearly always that new technology become just another vehicle for the wealthy to get wealthier often at the expense of everyone else.

Personally, I'm trying to accept more where we are as a society and species. I'm trying to find some amount of harmony versus living entirely at odds with it.

I've mounted too many Rocinantes and charged too many windmills. The windmills are designed to be even tougher than they appear. #POSIWID
