Phew. A big day driving a lot of different kinds of road!
The Kona is a little dusty but no worse for wear. 492km total with a 20min fast charge (60-80%) in Port Renfrew was enough to make the loop.
Surprise visited family in Victoria too. A good day!

It was previously on the corporate deforestation list prior to the hard grassroots fight to save this area of Port Renfrew, where old growth forests were rapidly dwindling due to colonial capitalist style of short-term greedy gains & putting nature last. Awaiting to be arrested (again) at HeliCamp - named because it was only camp that could take out activists via #helicopter.
This was a very remote, high up in mountain valley resistance camp that I first got death threats from one unhinged logger, from Lake Cowichan & told by one RCMP CIRG guy that I deserve to be raped.

We had Transport Canada verify that this helicopter maneuver & 3 other ones documented at other resistance camp areas was illegal & violated federal regulations but no action was taken to punish people responsible for violations.
This footage was taken before over 100 RCMP CIRG goons raided 4 different #ResistanceCamps.
Voluntary RCMP #CIRG unit was created in 2017 as a strictly corporate mercenaries unit in BC. Approved by #BCNDP government.
