The historic #PortEllen distillery is set to open this year. The distillery’s buildings have gone through many changes since it first opened in 1824, with the distillery closing and largely being demolished in the 1930s, before being rebuilt in the 1960s. Following its most recent closure in 1983.

Tom had me and Matt round for #Scotch and #Whiskey last night; the lineup was something like a 40yo single malt, a 40yo single grain, 2 25yo single malts, a 30yo #Macallan, a 40yo blended, a 50yo blended, 2 #BTAC bourbons, a 40yo Appleton rum and 5 #PortEllen
Fully insane.
I might give the win to either the William Larue #Weller or maybe the 25yo #Mortlach
