Today's additions - first a Clan Denny 14 year Port Dundas single grain Scotch from auction. And from Julio's Liquors Loch & Key Whisk(e)y Society the last of the Maker's Mark stave run, "Encore". Plus two Copper & Cask releases - "French Kiss" 7 year bourbon finished in Armagnac and "Roxie" 8 year rye finished in a Moxie seasoned cask.

That's right, Moxie. Yes, it's good.

Both C&C bottles and boxes are signed by Ryan Maloney and Randall Bird.

This weekend we had a couple of Jess's relatives up from a Virginia as houseguests. Sometimes I pick things up at auctions that won't ship to MA, and they're also whisky collectors, so they've been kind enough to receive shipments for me. Well, that backlog arrived with them - along with a couple of recent bottles.

There was mostly Compass Box with a few different editions of Hedonism, Asyla, Oak Cross, and The Spice Tree. But the one that's completely new for me is The Entertainer.

Then there was a collection of Glenmorangie. I'd picked up a few different versions of the 10 year old from different eras, joining some I already have. I think it could be interesting to do a vertical tasting and see how it has evolved. I also picked up a Warehouse 3 Reserve, which was a travel retail bottle years ago, the Burr Oak Reserve I'd been hunting for a while, and a speakeasy bottle filled in 2004.

And then the miscellaneous - Ardbeg Kildalton, The Clan Denny 33 year old Port Dundas, Plantation Rum XO 20th Anniversary, and Dictador Rum Vintage 1980 41 year and Best of 1981 36 year.
