@nicd oh yeah I've heard that Koss' lifetime warranty is pretty good (although several people I know had to use it multiple times, so what does that say about their product durability? 😆) But I haven't had to make use of it.
after getting used to over-ear ANC, plus the lack of devices having 3.5mm jacks... I've only used the #portapro with #sailfishos devices from time to time.

I have a pair of Koss Porta Pros that I'm thinking about doing the detachable cable mod on. Any thoughts or recs before I start poking around AliExpress for parts?

It seems to me there should be market demand for AAA-batteries-powered Bluetooth gym #headphones (i.e. something like the Koss #PortaPro or legendary discontinued Sony MDR-W08, but not running on proprietary Li-Po/Li-Ion batteries), but I can't find any out there. Is there such a thing at reasonable prices? I don't want to rely on non-standard batteries.

If I could mix and match, I'd like to have something built along the lines of a #nocs #ns900, that doesn't weigh more than a #sennheiser #hd25 and sounds like a #meze #empyrean. 😝 And all of that with the footprint on my head of a #koss #portapro. Pretty much impossible, I know. But I am willing to compromise. -

Koss Porta Pro looks really cool (and comfy), but just reading that it's a bass-heavy headphone without much treble makes me sick 😅
ksc 75 is flat but... ear clips? c'mon
kph 30 sounds like something good, but ugly as heck.
kph 40 looks ok, but sounds closer to Porta Pro?(I know I can buy the ksc 75 and a heaband. But it would be so good it they had this out-of-the-box :/ )

Den #Kopfhörer gibt es seit einiger Zeit bereits als Bluetooth-Variante und ich hatte den Zeigefinger immer mal wieder über dem Bestellen-Button … bis er gestern dann mal ausgerutscht ist!

@gauteweb kult! Jeg digger modding av ting som ikke er helt som man ønsker.
Jeg ønsker meg et suuuperlett (som i gram) hodetelefoner som er trådløst, men jeg sliter med å finne det.
I går falt jeg ned i #portapro modding kaninhullet. Jeg lovte meg selv å ikke starte på neon nye prosjekt før jeg var ferdig med det gamle, så det må dessverre vente litt.Har du moddet andre hodetelefoner?
