Bravo to DR Congo. I had Portugal as having an outside chance of making it to the finals. Maybe they will, but they have work to do. And I’m asking questions of Martinez, same as the Euros, of why he feels obligated to play Ronaldo so much. He WAS a great player, and IS still capable or producing a brilliant moment, but those moments are fewer and fewer. Other, better, options exist.

I sure hope Congo is upping their defence, 'cause I have yet to see any way out of Portugal's pressure. They're tactically aiming for longshots and fixed points when in control, I'm guessing.

Ich bin schon ein bisschen enttäuscht, dass sich #MagentaTV für diesen „hydration break”-Schwachsinn bei der #WM2026 hergibt, und in der Zeit Werbung sendet.

Gut hingegen, dass der Kommentator von #PORCOD diese eben einleitete mit: „Und jetzt die hydration break im runtergekühlten Stadion.”

Da guckt man ausnahmsweise mal auf ZDF statt SRF, und Kind bemerkt sofort, dass die Flagge von Kongo falsch ist.

Mussten darum reumütig zu SRF zurück wechseln 😅
