In #Australia the conservative right party brought in a #BabyBonus *in this century* as well as increased immigration by insane levels, extra hundreds of thousands a year, simply to satisfy #contructionCartels, retailers like #GerryHarvey (very short term strategy given the effect on #CurrentAccount), suppress wages, and boost housePrices.

#Overdevelopment is a massive issue.

#Construction is the worst industry, and #populationGrowth tends to be at the root of it. Thankfully in most places when people get access to #contraception, #familyPlanning and #education they lower #fertilty.

Bombing places (ie. #conflict and #war) actually boosts fertility, and produces #refugees, both terrible things in today's age.

The #JeffreyEpsteinClass and #CEOs, love it though, more #workers and #consumers.
