My PopSocket broke.

I’ve relied on a PopSocket to hold my phone without getting pinky pain. I’ve used one for nigh upon a decade. I genuinely don’t remember how to hold my phone without it.

Can you send pictures of how you hold a phone? Or paint a word picture?

The real question at the heart of this is: I want to use MagSafe features, but I don’t know how to do that and have a PopSocket-style grip that I don’t have to constantly remove for charging or mounting on my dashboard.

If you have suggestions, I’m all ears.

Draft - Idea - a C shaped magsafe phone ring thingy so that, you can easily lift up the central phone ring thingy where the open C area is because right now if it's a full circle, it's less intuitive to open it...u gotta like turn it over and think about it for a few seconds and it's kinda not that intuitive. But if the magsafe ring was sorta open for a centimeter or two, then you could slide your finger in that open area to easily lift the central ring thing up, although then what happens with the ability of it to circle 360 degrees .... Hmmm

@imyke Oh, I know. You influenced me to try a #popsocket since I’m new to #maxclub, and glad I did. But early reports seem to indicate that it's not as resilient as the 14 Pro Max.

@marcoarment Not on a #Rivian, but you might consider using a #popsocket as a sunglasses holder (IMHO, the only reasonable use of a pop socket, @caseyliss 😃).

I'm using pop sockets for my clip-ons since ~2018 and they should work with any sunglasses as long as the frames aren't very thick.

🇬🇧 I bought #PopSocket with MagSafe for my #iPhone13ProMax today. I had the Uniq Lyft before, which was a great stand but uncomfortable to hold. PopSocket, on the other hand, makes holding super, but doesn't work as a stand. There is no perfect solution.

I got this super adorable #bunnycase for my #pixel2. So cute but so impractical! Fingerprint sensor is hard to reach, floppy ears are in the way of the camera, and the tail... I suppose I could grip it like #popsocket? 😂
