MD PPC conveys news that saddens us enormously. As you may have already heard, our beloved David Mott has passed on from our planet; leaving a legacy to be proud of. He filled so many shoes w/the #PoorPeoplesCampaign.

While other orgs have already shared their memories of David, ours took time as Tri-Chair Mike Puskar was creating a video compilation, including previously unreleased footage of David performing "The Long Black Veil" in Rockville this very day, 12/20/23.

Expiring ACA tax credits put 22 million Americans at risk of major hikes to their health insurance premiums; average costs could rise sharply/double.

Democrats are ready to extend these tax credits, but some Republican support is needed.

GOP Senators who have expressed openness to extending the tax credits need to hear what impact this will have on their state/our country.
