Since we're travelling Down South today, we figured it was a good chance to try a new #parkrun venue on the way.
Lucky for us Pontefract parkrun was right near the motorway, plus a new letter for us and of course our first step towards the Full Ponty challenge!
It mostly follows the loop of the racecourse but starts and ends around a lake which, today at least, featured adorable baby geese. And then to top it all off, there was an ice cream truck at the finish line!

Escalation
Things are mostly getting worse. My neurologist referral has stalled, with my symptoms degrading further, so I reached out to my GP last week to expedite the next step. Despite a separate optician appointment confirming my blurred vision isn't just a sudden change of prescription, I still need to know what's wrong with that and the rest. To that end, I was advised to go to the local hospital's Accident and Emergency department in the hope of escalating my case to someone who could help. […] -
