I was lucky to arrive here first thing in the morning, before the tour busses and other visitors. I hiked around a bit to admire the very well preserved #Roman #aqueduct and found this spot along the #GardonRiver..

Wir sind von Saint Bonnet über den Hügel zur #PontduGard gewandert, haben die Pont und die Gard, die untendrunter durchfließt bestaunt, dem 1115 Jahre alten Olivenbaum Hallo gesagt und Mut zugesprochen und sind am Schluss nach dem dritten #Geocache des Tages durch den Saint Bonneter Friedhof spaziert, oberhalb des Dorfes. Ein feiner Ausflug war das. (Aber mit Erkältung sind zehn Wanderkilometer schon anstrengender als im gesunden Zustand.)

Am Abend soll ja das Wetter umschlagen. Noch knallt die Sonne, aber es hat merklich abgekühlt und wird heute nur so etwa 10 Grad.

Gisteren ontdekte ik het project #BridgesOfMastodon (started by @Damiansixx_ ) ik houd van bruggen, boten die er onderdoor varen, over de leuning hangen enzo. Yesterday I found out about the #BridgesOfMastodon project. I love bridges, boats under them and leaning over the railing. This wonderful bridge #PontduGard spans the river #Gardon, (south of France) it was built in the 1st century as an aquaduct meant to bring water to lower cities. Lateron the lower part (20ft wide) was used as a bridge.
