Seems like a new hybrid #Alvia service could be introduced in May between #Madrid and #Ferrol 🇪🇸 running on the single-track lines via #Ponferrada and #Lugo, thus geographically on the same route as the former Trenhotel "Atlántico" that was withdrawn during the pandemic (but of course operated on the broad-gauge line between Madrid and León via Ávila).
The at present only direct Alvia train pair Madrid <> Ferrol runs via Zamora and Ourense.
