Tonight! This is how I remember the Northern Lights from living in Northern Alaska in Nome. Just like this! Haven't seen lights like this since 2000. It's like you can just reach right up and touch them they are so close. These were taken by Andrew Tagak at Pond Inlet, near Baffin Bay, which is a small Inuit village in Nunavut, Canada, which is about 1100 miles away from Alaska and further North than Nome.
