A wheatear... one of my favourite summer visitors.
It's one of the first of a little project I've started working on where I'm making local birds out of polymer clay. It won't stay this big - it will be "reduced" (to follow!). Having said that, this is definitely much bigger than I intended, so yet another lesson learned.

Völlig vergessen euch auf dem Laufenden zu halten was mein neues rabbit hole bzw. Zeit- und Geldgrab angeht.
Ich hab wieder was neues gebaut und auch fast fertig.

I sculpted this rounded blue octopus figurine using polymer clay and cocktail sticks/toothpicks and a craft knife. I originally posted it to Instagram on the 30th April 2016 and I've added watermarks where previously there weren't any.
