I have a feeling that we finally are getting some movement in the #polsci, specifically the #policystudies sphere around taking back control over our journals (current state is pretty awful). Just learned about the new Public Policy Journal, which is run by respected scholars, independently, and seems to run on #openjournalsystems. Cool!

In the UK we have local and national government administrative areas.
For example:
- my local government area is the ‘Ward’ of Eastney and Craneswater
- my national government area is the ‘Constituency’ of Portsmouth South.Does the local/municipal | national/federal combo fully address every sizeable country?
Or are there important intermediary ones as well? i.e. areas *between* local/municipal and national/federal which people have some sort of political agency in?

Calling the loss of freedoms and antidemocratization wrought by a predatory delay fossil coalition and the broligarchy the Fourth Wave is such sweet comeuppance, I'm almost sad it is probably too niche to catch on as a popular term.

In "Authority transfer and governmental legal contestation before the court of justice of the EU", @jonasbornemann.bsky.social and I ask a simple question. Does the transfer of authority to EU institutions shape Member States' (MS) legal contestation before the Court of Justice of the EU? #polsci #radical #liberationtheology theorists, point me at readings or authors to look at regarding alternative models for #contestation (ideas, access, executive authority). I'm interested in praxis and rhetoric, but also metaphysical insight (given conflict appears endemic) as long as complete submission to material injustice isn't the main strategy.
I've read a lot about transgression, accountability in the context of decarceral liberation but I don't know a lot about prefigurative models for conflict resolution. Boosts appreciated.

🛠️ The #euvsdisinfo #dataset is a fantastic resource—well-structured, highly useful, and a great example of proactive #data sharing in the #research of #disinformation. I’ll be using it in an upcoming research project!
🔍 That said, the data collection #methodology remains a bit opaque. If anyone has insights on how the data is gathered, I’d love to hear more!
