  1. Another of my #termsOfVenery print for #PollinatorWeek: The delightful term for a group of moths is an eclipse. This hand-printed lino block print shows 5 of the noctunral moths of Ontario in front of the moon at a lunar eclipse. The 5 moths are: the gorgeous green Luna moth (Actias luna), the yellow and purplish-pink Imperial moth (Eacles imperialis), the Five-spotted Hawk Moth in brown with 🧵1/2

  2. One of my favourite #termsOfVenery prints for #pollinatorWeek:

    A kaleidoscope of butterflies!

There are three each of the orange Isabella’s Longwings (Nymphalidae Eueides isabella), three yellow Eastern tiger swallowtails (Papilio glaucus), and three blue Red-Spotted Purples (Limenitis arthemis astyanax) in this #linocut kaleidoscope.⠀

  3. For #PollinatorWeek: lino block print with collaged Japanese washi papers on a white mulberry leaf paper with bark inclusions shows blossoming cherry branches and two of our wild, native bees: the bumblebee (Bombus impatiens) and the Blue Orchard Mason Bee (Osmia lignaria). I printed it by hand on 16" x 20" with various collaged Japanese washi papers for the blossoms, bee bodies and wings.
