  1. Daphne laureola L. is blooming. It is a winter plant species and it is pollinated by insects. Yes: there are Winter-dwelling insects.

Obviously in Southern Spain only, its local main pollinator was identified as Clypeogethes elongatus (rosenh.) (a pollen beetle).

Here it's not Spain. Pollen beetles are not foraging now. I have drawn a list of winter foragers in my forest and have suspicions about some species. But I can not confirm. Weirdly, I'm finding no reference about D. laureola L. pollination outside Mediterranean. Is anyone aware of a reference, I would have missed?
