AI companies have been given lots of cash. Senseless amounts of cash. Have about they can only build a data centre if they power it from new renewables generation that they also have to pay for. So when the AI bubble bursts we will have all this renewable generation and it won’t push up the energy prices for the rest of us. New wind and solar projects would get green light once all their lobbying £€$ arrive. #AI #Politics #PolicyIdeas

#PolicyIdeas Force foreign-owned companies to conform with the working conditions mandated by their government, where those are more generous than those of our employment laws. So the two Oz-owned supermarket chains that dominate the food industry in Aotearoa would have to pay the Oz minimum wage etc to their kiwi workers.
