Finished the Scarlet and Violet Epilogue, or rather the hordes of people controlled by a some Pokemon that looks like something that came from a peach.
Watching hordes of people processed wanting mochi (in Japanese, it says Kibi referring to dango from Momotaro, which the Pokemon is based on)
Well, I guess it's the DLC to play around Halloween I guess.

So it was brought up how, if you solo these shiny raids WITHOUT being online, your data won’t be transmitted nor counted as part of the official worldwide tally. But I’ve always thought it doesn’t matter because every time I refresh the map via Poke Portal, my game data syncs with the server anyway?
Do you NEED to be online for your victories to be counted?

CW: Pokemon Scarlet Teal Mask Spoilers
A few days ago, well last week when I was in Ocean City New Jersey last Saturday, I pretty much finished most of the first half of the DLC. Finished the DLC story this week and starting the blue disc part.
Ogerpon is cute, but it’s sad that the people there think this cute female Oni Pokemon is the bad Pokemon, well because Oni in Japanese culture are viewed as wicked creatures.
Funny how Seille and the player character lied to Seille’s younger brother, Suguri. Eventually he gets upset when he finds out they lied to him about not meeting Ogerpon (they did), and he is treated like an outcast despite looking up to Ogerpon. Also, he doesn’t take losing well, but I felt that Suguri gets treated as the bad guy in the story.

⚠️ Please BE AWARE that there is a chance that if you transfer your save file from Switch to Switch 2, you may lose it. This person lost 20 years of data that they'd had since their Game Boy Advance. Totally brutal. It's a huge gamble, and to me, might not be worth it if you really value your save data.

@ghostlyash I rarely name them but if I do, I sometimes go for cutesy permutations of their own names, or some pop culture character that has some links to their typing, if not the species itself
E.g. in #PokemonScarlet I called my Fuecoco #Zuko until he evolved into a Skeledirge and grew up so I called him #Iroh for #Avatar - he grew up and got wise!

As a collector of video game soundtracks, which include Pokémon, I am overjoyed to finally own the Pokémon Sword & Shield, Legends Arceus, and Scarlet & Violet soundtracks! My friend from Japan who visited recently, obtained them for me earlier in the year, along with a nice box that was only available from the Pokémon Center store when all three were purchased.
