For the final episode of my Pokemon B&W2 series, my friends had the wonderful idea to make a completely custom Pokemon World Tournament, full of memes, challenges and surprises, and I'm super happy this happened!
They came up with the idea all on their own, me not knowing anything about it, and it couldn't have been more fitting for a series finale.

5. aS我玩了大概30个小时通了一周目，W1就只有20小时不到。本身我对对战和收集图鉴热情都不高（感觉像打工），从游戏时长来说黑白这一代的剧情内容确实比宝石复刻短，估计更多内容放在黑2白2了；顺便也感受到了画面和游戏机制的巨大倒退（不过再看珍钻的画面反倒更舒服，可能黑白这个半吊子3D很伤害像素2D的画面观感吧）。话说黑白发售都2010年了，和视网膜屏的iPhone4同年，但受限掌机的256×192p画面……至于粉丝和媒体一致评价历代最高的剧情设计，感觉并没有超出宝可梦平均水平……

That's #PokemonWhite beaten, or at least the main story. Probably will try to level up to rematch the Elite Four and beat the Champion, and try to scoop the remaining legendaries in the region up.

Elite Four beaten for the first time in #PokemonWhite. Think I might have been under levelled, it was pretty tough. But now it's on to the Team Plasma part of the finale.

Only one gym left in #PokemonWhite and I'm on to the Elite Four. Unless something drastic happens, the team looks to be Excadrill, Victini, Samurott, Scrafty, Archeops, and Galvantula. Quite happy with that, even if it means not trying to get a Haxorus or Chandelure, two #Pokemon I quite liked in later #games.
#PokemonBW, I kind of feel, is one that feels better as you get further into it, the first two gyms were offputting as a kid, and still are a bit of a pain now. Afterwards tho is good.

Slowly levelling up the team and exploring the Chargestone Caves. Dropped Yamask for a Joltik just for a better team comp, though I'll probably try a Yamask in a future game, ghost-ground seems better utility than the #PokemonBW version, sadly.
It's going quite well, the team is fun, I like them, and I've warmed to this game much more than my first attempted playthrough.

Four gyms down in #PokemonBW, and the team is Dewott, Drilbur, Victini, Yamask, Scraggy, and Archen. Works pretty well, but it does lack a #Pokemon that can counter water types. Not sure what I want to do about that. Might honestly be switching Victini for a Joltik later on, since I quite like the rest of the team & Victini might be a wee bit cheaty? I'm liking thr Yamask with Will-o-Wisp, Hex, Ominous Wind, Haze, or I would probably drop him, but I've never used Yamask's before.

They didn't muck about with the Mystery Gifts in #Pokemon Black/White/Black2/White2, did they? Shiny Giratina, shiny Palkia, shiny Dialga, wtf? Seems really genrous versus what Sword/Shield gave, which I think the only shiny I got from an event was Celebi (still cool, but come on, versus the three Sinnoh legends?) Plus stuff like Deoxys, shiny Metagross, it's insane how generous they were at the end of the #NintendoDS line.
Gonna go catch some fodder in White to trade for these.

We're at the point where I'm trying to kidnap a Victini, cause he looks like a neat little dude.
Hopefully he's a decent wee powerhouse for the team moving forward.

Adventure through #Unova in #Pokemon White is going fine, though it did remind me why I disliked it as a kid, the first two gyms are pretty rough while also not being that interesting, made me feel like I had to grind hard in the early game, which is never a fun feeling.
But hopefully it picks up a bit more now, as I begin to have a fuller and better levelled team.

Nice to start a fresh save on #PokemonWhite, I remember bouncing off of it as a kid. I think because I wasn't very good at #Pokemon, especially normal gyms. But I'm older and sort of know a little better how to play these games now, so I expect I'll see this playthrough to the end. Will be fun, since #PokemonBW gets quite a lot of praise from fans.

It's pretty cool you can still get the online Mystery Gifts for #Pokemon White on the #DS / #3DS even now. Just make the DNS for your internet connection 164.132.44.106 and it'll connect and give you the event Pokemon. Doing it on the 3DS, it uses the 3DS WiFi settings.
Nice thing for those wanting to go back to White/Black and their sequels.
