I am only halfway looking forward to a challenge I have set for myself. I am gonna use #scummvm to play #maniacmansion and see if I can beat it in 4 hours, similar to some Adventure Game Aptitude Test thing designed by some developer I have never heard of: Woe Industries.
I don't have a setup to ensure compliance in terms of cheating, but if I don't complete it, I'll upload a screenshot of where I got. Hopefully I can solve this #pointandclickadventuregame and be like one of the two individuals who beat that supposed AGAT thing.
If I beat it, I'll show a screenshot, assuming I can pause my timer without resetting it. Regardless, going in blind and I doubt I can do it because point and click adventure games were a quickly dying genre when I was growing up.

It's a HUGE upgrade, when you compare these cinematics with other ND visual novels. Can't wait to get a feel of the gameplay that they, most likely, improved in accordance to general feedback as well.
There is so much to do in and explore new locations: in 3D, no less! Essentially, you can have a ride to Prague as the detective Nancy Drew in this game and play brain crackers, haha. :blobcattea:
