I almost forgot today is the equinox. It's a little early to think of Xmas, unless you are a poinsettia. Curfew starts today. My plant is now on a table in a south-east window. My light blocking cardboard box stands ready. I have an alarm set to go off everyday at 7AM and 5PM. Hopefully we manage to get the plant to bloom again this holiday. Last year I was a little late in covering it. It had started blooming by Xmas, but it was absolutely spectacular in February. #poinsettia

How do you decorate your home for Christmas, and do you do it at all?..
usually i don´t decorate a lot or not at all, but this year i feel a need to make it shiny and bright, i found out i love modern led-candles with a timer, when they switch on by themself as soon as it gets dark. the days are the darkest in Finland now, the day lasts for 5h 48mins only today here and it´s snowing.
but my wish of light comes not out of a festive feeling of joy but out of some depression as the last year was the hardest and gloomiest in my life.
