I am now able to find a nearby #POI from #OpenStreetMap and share it as a #GeoTagged post to the Fediverse!

Early days, but I think building a #FourSquare style "Check In To This Location" service might actually be possible!

(Mastodon doesn't expose the lat/long - but they are there.)

I was sitting outside the Justin Herman Plaza on the #Embarcadero in #SanFrancisco at sunset one night about 10 years ago.

I was hanging around looking for something to take pictures of and suddenly, out of nowhere, a #troupe of acrobatic #firedancers flooded down Market St with boomboxes and started swinging fire.

If you know this woman, let her know I took this dope picture of her a decade ago and it still holds up ;)
