The other change envisioned for the voiuvodeship would divert the Olsztyn-Ostrołęka-Białystok corridor through 20k Zambrów (another county town) and 8~9k Wysokie Mazowieckie. Even the shadow project, designed by people with a political interest in maximizing investment in the east as it is, opted to leave them with connecting buses (in favor of a Płock-Raciąż-Glinojeck-Ciechanów-Przasnysz-Ostrołęka transversal line, mind……… ok, eating those words right now, actually).
Getting rid of the current Ostrołęka-Łapy line would be rather difficult to sell, too, so I'm not sure it this will happen
