In #PLK things - the infra manager opened a tender for the overhaul of Toruń Główny-Toruń Wschodni - among the highlights are the rebuilding of the underpass under Plac Pokoju Toruńskiego, where a rushed electrification job created a single-track section, and a bike-foot path along the bridge over the Vistula, foot access having been removed about a decade ago. Reading deeper into the press release, it looks like the municipal government also agreed to build an overpass over a main road separating the infamously poorly-prepared Toruń Katarzynka halt in the far north of the city (when it first opened, it was not connected to… anything, really. They have also opened a halt by the name of Padew Narodowa at the southern throat of Padew station, on the Tarnobrzeg-Dębica section of line in Subcarpathia.
