Podlachia is pretty much in line with what was already there, in reality or in plans, but the *south*-east saw a notable rearrangement with the main Lublin-Kraków connection being rerouted from the current Radom-Kielce route via Tarnobrzeg and the manufacturing town of Mielec (known for planes and, in public transport circles, passenger info systems), a significant improvement from the network building perspective. The new bihourly line P20 would continue through Katowice onto the Sudety trunk and reach Jelenia Góra, with every other train running a section from Hrubieszów Miasto via Zamość and Biłgoraj, the route of Mielec's only current long-distance connection, the Hetman, which the previous plans merely expanded into a 2h line. One pair would be routed to Wrocław, a relation apparently more important than many realize (all relations between the big cities of the south seem to be much more important than anyone in Warsaw realizes) based on the outcry after the Hetman, originally routed across the south and all the way to Zielona Góra via Żary, was unceremoniously shortened to Kraków, subjecting people from the region to much stress over whether they would make the change.
Other changes in Subcarpathia include line 54 Warsaw-Sandomierz-Rzeszów-Przemyśl being upgraded to Express category and carrying a section for Krosno and Sanok with every other train, and a brand-new line U41 that would connect Rzeszów with Łódź via Stalowa Wola, the currently freight-only line via Staszów to Kielce (that's going to need some serious work to bring back up to passenger-carrying standards, but I'm confident we can do a reasonable job of it quickly), and the CMK. Subcarpathia is not too keen on the latter, it was raised as something of a 'nice-to-have' by the Holy Cross Voivodeship, but it does the advantage of already being electrified throughout, making it runnable, at least provisionally, with whatever old stock PKPIC has in store

One slightly worse, but sensible enough, thing - The Ministry of Infrastructure has refused to make plans for long-distance trains through the Łupków-Medzilaborce broder crossing with Slovakia, which was requested by the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, reasoning that the route is of regional importance and hence falls under regional responsibility (and, honestly, they should get around to restoring Kraków-Košice-Miskolc-Budapest which Slovakia and Hungary have been asking about for years and both of Poland's main political camps have adopted a position of 'when Podłęże-Piekiełko is done'): https://www.rynek-kolejowy.pl/wiadomosci/mi-pociagi-na-slowacje-przez-lupkow-leza-w-gestii-samorzadu--153178.html

For Subcarpathia, aside from the aforementioned HSL for Stalowa Wola and Rzeszów, there's the idea of using a line that supplies a power plant in Połaniec on the Vistula as the base of a new Kielce-Rzeszów corridor connecting Mielec and Kolbuszowa. The shadow plan opts for just Połaniec-Mielec and a curve bypassing Dębica for the Rzeszów connection, which seems like a more economical option unless traffic on the Kraków-Rzeszów-Przemyśl trunk gets really bad - and even then the gov plan envisions upgrading it to 250, which ought to put quadruple-tracking into consideration, I think?
In the south, the proposals are a curve allowing trains from Rzeszów to turn towards Krosno without having to trek several kilometers west to Jasło and back, and a Wisłoka valley line between Dębica and Jasło (which they apparently see some interregional traffic on), as oppsed to the shadow project's Rzeszów-Krosno and Rzeszów-Sanok tunnel-fests.
Both plans recommend cutting the detour between Stalowa Wola and Sandomierz/Metan that exists probably solely because that's where the Austria-Russia border was back when that system was being built.

Kinda interesting day at Rynek Kolejowy today, here's some of the stories:
First, a reminder to those who don't dig into yearly timetables (that sorta includes me too) - trains will be replaced by buses from the March timetable change until the end of August between Jasło and Krosno in Subcarpathia. This is in addition to the existing closures further down the line to Zagórz and Ustrzyki, where the voivodeship opted to cancel the trains, arguing that the existing bus offer is sufficient and paying for train replacement buses would have been a waste of money: https://www.rynek-kolejowy.pl/wiadomosci/podkarpackie-autobusy-zastepcze-do-zagorza-to-niegospodarnosc--126399.html1/

Today on Rynek Kolejowy, the Subcarpathian Voivodeship explains why there are no replacement buses between Zagórz and Ustrzyki Dolne despite trains being withdrawn due to engineering works. Their excuse? The trains were for tourists, since you wouldn't have been able to take a bicycle onto a replacement bus, there's no added value over the 10 bus pairs we already run on the route. Indeed, since the stations are located in out-of-way locations, the service would have been worse. Most people take those trains between Rzeszów and Jasło anyway.

Najstarsza cerkiew w Polsce, a mało kto wie o jej istnieniu. Ten niezwykły zabytek prawosławnego gotyku z XV, albo nawet XIV wieku, stoi sobie spokojnie zapomniany przez świat. Stoi pusty i już nikt nie śpiewa w nim boskiej liturgii, ani nie głosi ewangelii.
